New York City team building ideas
July 7th, 2010I’ve created and executed team building events for associates of law firms, investment banks and other companies that want to create synergy outside of work and among a group. Divide the group into teams who run around NYC armed with a Polaroid camera and have to capture a series of “moments” such as a photo of the group with two NYC police officers where one member of the team is wearing one of the officer’s police hats. Other challenges are to get a photo of 5 people in a NYC cab. Keep the number in each group under 6 players so that the team has a chance to interact well.
Event Energizers sets up a point person in each part of town who hands the crew their next clue so they can proceed to the next level. These challenges are intermixed with NYC trivia such as find out the names of the two lion statues (Patience and Fortitude) outside the NYC Public Library. We can customize trivia surrounding the client’s history as related to NYC also.
Our events get teams to interact with New Yorkers, learn about famous places, promote team building and have fun! The first group to finish all the challenges/trivia and end up at the finish line (with everything in order) wins the contest. All groups end up at a beautiful restaurant such as American Park in Battery Park (private dining room) with a view of the Statue of Liberty for a party. Awards are also given out for funniest photo and best team leader to add to the fun of the day.

would like to start off by saying, thank you for supplying me using the information I’ve been searching for. I’ve been surfing the web for three several hours searching for it and would have given my correct arm if I would have located your site sooner. Not only did I find what I was searching for, but discovered answers to questions I never even believed to ask myself. Thank you for your wonderful web-site!
